The Director of Marketing Operations will be responsible for the strategy, execution, analysis, and on-going optimization of Groupon Good’s online marketing programs. The position will manage the Groupon Goods marketing team to partner with the rest of the Groupon Goods team and Online Marketing team to drive qualified traffic to our website, achieve sales and margin goals and support our efforts to drive overall Groupon brand forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage 4 – 6 person Goods marketing team
Manage a dynamic online marketing calendar
Partner with the Online Marketing team to maximize traffic, sales, and profit from our channel marketing, including email, notifications, SEO/SEM, affiliate, display re-targeting and acquisition, display, social advertising
Analyze and report on channel marketing initiatives and partner with Online Marketing
Develop robust attribution models, collaborate with business leaders and brand teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of our existing digital budget. Establish KPIs to manage performance and communicate results/value to leadership team.
Work with cross functional teams to drive conversions and new customer acquisition
Take part in landing page conversion optimization (A/B testing, multivariate testing and offer testing background)
Responsible for directing online marketing activities, resulting in increased visitors who are likely to become qualified leads and online sales
Accountable for meeting new customer, revenue, and margin goals, while managing a marketing budget efficiently
Keep abreast of the latest SEO, SEM and digital marketing industry information, trends and opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required
5+ years in online retail or agency experience required; 2 years of management experience required
Analytic and quantitative skills, specifically mobile marketing metrics are a must; knowledgeable with all standard KPIs (DAU, Retention, Monetization) and excel in terms of dealing with growth-centric metrics such as CPI, LTV and ROI
Financially savvy and skilled in reporting on all KPIs, marketing performance, user behavior, shopping flows, channels, marketing tests and uncovering insights which provide a better understanding our customer in order to improve traffic, conversion and financial results
Solid understanding of media landscape as well as SEO/SEM that can elevate brand/product discovery/engagement
Direct marketing experience with online display advertising, content marketing, social/community marketing, affiliate marketing, email, website analytics and website conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA)
Experience managing an online agency in SEO and SEM initiatives
Understanding of DMP, DSP, Attribution solutions required
Experience with multi-channel Attribution Modeling Tools such as Clearsailing, VisualIQ, Adomentry preferred
Experience writing persuasive search friendly content to drive traffic
Experience with Omni-Channel marketing driving traffic to both online and brick and mortar stores with a strong focus on mobile and local
Extremely driven and curious self-starter who can consistently uncover areas for improvement in marketing strategy and tactics and carry through to implementation
Exceptional project management, organizational, writing, and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests, work effectively under pressure and under tight timelines
Strong oral and written communication skills
