We’re looking for a motivated, data driven individual to join our Local Analytics team. The Analyst, Local Analytics will support the Revenue Management team in accurately measuring business performance, identifying improvement opportunities, guiding on key lever and tool development, optimizing key business levers, and developing plans of action and tools that lead to maximized revenue performance. This analyst will be required to understand and interpret data structures and business performance at various levels of detail in order to generate objective, data-driven, and actionable short and long-term recommendations for leadership.
Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to track Local business performance as well as the impact of business levers
Extract data and gather feedback from global stakeholders to allow for development of actionable tools and efficient and sustainable data model
Interpret insights and visualize implementation within toolset while understanding boundaries of technical solution and priorities
Support revenue management, sales, operations, and merchandising teams with insights and tools that lead to actions that maximize overall revenue performance
Support the business with major reporting tool reporting views that enable key metric measurement and initiative monitoring and evaluation
3+ years of professional experience with major reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree required
SQL proficiency required
Experience with reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau or a cool open source equivalent
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
Capacity for creative problem solving and strategic thinking
Excited by working with data, measuring performance, and making objective decisions based on quantitative and/or deductive reasoning
