We’re adding multiple Data Warehouse Engineer positions to the team at our Palo Alto, CA location.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee the design, implementation and provision of support services for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Work with business users and data analysts to design and implement data integration flows into the enterprise warehouse.
Utilize experience in end-to-end knowledge of data warehousing and BI systems (including data modeling, ETL architectures and OLAP) in data warehouse development.
Use parallel processes and architectures in translating business requirements into data models.
Work with ETL in multi-terabyte data warehouse.
Resolve any performance or scaling issues.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, and two years of experience in data warehousing or business intelligence systems.
Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, and five years of experience in data warehousing or business intelligence systems.
Work experience must have included:

MySQL and Teradata
SQL
ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) in multi-terabyte data warehouses and BI systems including data modeling and OLAP
Custom and open source job scheduling, data quality and metadata
Parallel processing and architectures
Resolving performance or scaling issues in data warehousing
Perl, Python, Bach, Korn or other scripting language
Hadoop and Hive
