We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work in Groupon Goods CIM team. The CIM Teams manage the ingestion and control of vendor, product and deal information. They also manage the ingestion of inventory data, the management thereof being the responsibility of Goods Logistics with their ownership of the Goods Inventory System. In this role, you would be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of testing frameworks and tools, working with development teams to build game changing products, acting as the quality owner and gate-keeper. Our teams work very collaboratively, following agile methodologies.
2+ years of software development
1+ years test development
BE, or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases is preferred: MySQL, Postgres
Excellent understanding of Agile Testing Quadrants (more nice to have)
Experience with Test planning and Test metrics generation
Excellent communication skills
Experience in writing WebDriver/Selenium 2.0 based UI automation tests is a plus
Experience with build/project management tools such as Ant, Ivy, Maven, Gradle is a plus
Experience in setting up continuous integration (CI) build environments using Jenkins/Hudson, TeamCity is a plus
