The SEO Program Manager – Coupons is responsible for defining and executing comprehensive SEO strategies across various Groupon Coupons digital assets. Requires tactical and project coordination experience in ALL aspects of SEO including site architecture, content, linking and social strategies. Ensure Coupons properties and digital/social assets meet the optimal architecture, link, content and design criteria of the latest search engine algorithms to improve accessibility, visibility, rank, and relevance in search engines.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, user experience, IT, marketing and creative teams to ensure that all sites are built/optimized utilizing most current SEO best practices for site architecture, content and linking strategies
Collaborate on a regular basis with other Groupon SEO Program Managers to ensure that Coupons SEO practices align with and inform practices for Groupon website SEO as a whole.
Accountable for leading/conducting technical Website audits, information architecture optimization, social media optimization, external and internal linking analysis as they relate to SEO
Identify gaps and opportunities making recommendations and tracking improvements to organic rankings and traffic on all Groupon Coupons web properties
Lead on/off page SEO content marketing ideas in line with set strategy
Develop testing and optimization processes to continually improve efficiencies, program performance and competitive advantages
Create reports and present findings to business stakeholders
Support processes to educate writers, content managers, web developers, business stakeholders and others on SEO best practices and content optimization
Stay current with industry developments and participate in the SEO online community
2-3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing
Experience executing SEO strategy for multiple and/or large web properties
Demonstrate proficiency through successful track record in SEO as it relates to; site architecture, content marketing, linking and social media strategies
Knowledge of search engine criteria/algorithms, best practices, trends and industry developments
Experience with leading search engine ranking, traffic and analysis software
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision making orientation
Experience with and basic-proficiency with SQL.
Proficient with web analytics applications (Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.)
Google Analytics certified (preferred), proficient in Google Search Console
Passionate about digital and interactive marketing strategies and integrating marketing
