Groupon EMEA is seeking a Retail change manager to lead a $1B+ E-Commerce business through a multi-year transformation of its technology, processes and organizational design. The role will report to EMEA Senior Operations Director and will liaise with all cross-functional departments such as Operations, Logistics, Buying, Customer Services, Accounting, Inventory and Finance. A successful candidate will have 5 years experience in Retail or e-commerce, specifically in organisations that have undergone periods of strategic change for growth. This is a challenging and exciting leadership role that interfaces across many business functions. This role would perfectly suit somebody who has worked in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Conduct methodical investigation and analysis to assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
Identify gaps between old and new processes/systems
Partner with the commercial teams and other stakeholders to facilitate solution design and plan to implement the changes (solutions could involve change to process, KPIs, governance, organisation design, systems etc – all or just a small part of the operating model)
Lead and coordinate change processes that ensure the organization delivers outputs to meet customers’ and stakeholders’ needs as well as organizational and legal requirements.
Manage overview of communications for all changes

5 years of relevant work experience.
Commercial and retail background
Worked with buying teams and merchandising teams
Proven ability to deliver practical process and operating model changes
Ability to identify root cause and problem solve
Ability to influence senior management and leaders
Excellent Project Management skills
Worked in data driven e-commerce settings.
Systems change and systems implementation experience (some projects will have system components and others will not. Where systems change is part of the project you will partner with strong technology managers to guide the changes)
Bachelor degree preferred
