As we continue to grow our brand within the Groupon family, we’re seeking a tenacious, self-starting CRM Marketing Analyst to join our Customer Acquisition & Retention team.

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing customers and customer marketing programs that will drive positive Return on Investment (ROI), generate incremental revenue, reduce attrition, increase activation and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). This position is analytically focused and data intensive.


Learn and understand a broad range of LivingSocial’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use

Produce meaningful marketing dashboards and deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports with actionable insight and output scenarios

Propose testing strategies to further optimize marketing programs across push marketing channels

Analyze impact of marketing programs on revenue and retention rate.

Perform ad-hoc deep-dive customer & campaign analyses including engagement, purchase behavior, email marketing, offline marketing, display ad retargeting, and any other channels.

Support and assist marketing managers with segmentation and campaign reporting where needed. Investigate & resolve data issues encountered by the team.

Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions

Professional Qualifications:

BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Business

1+ years experience as an Analyst or similar- experience in data mining and statistical analyses

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a strong working knowledge of Excel

Able to source, work with, and combine disparate data sets to answer business questions

Problem solving ability, task prioritization, and follow-up skills

Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment

Required: SQL experience
