At least 6 years of experience in the area of PR and external communication, either in house or agency side
Experience in creating and conducting brand strategy communications for consumer brands in France
A broad range of media contacts and experience of the creation and pitching of consumer and B2B PR campaigns
Experience of community management and a base line understanding of social media measurement and metrics/reporting
Understanding of PR agencies, how they operate and best practice management – this may have been gained from managing agencies or from being a part of an agency team
Budget management capabilities
Some experience in internal communication and the use of company intranets
Fluent business English and French is a must
Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills
Independence and proactivity while fulfilling daily duties
Strong social skills. Must be able to work well in a group as well as individually time manage and drive projects to completion
E-commerce experience will be an asset
Key Responsibilities:

Development and implementation (with the local PR agency) of quarterly PR plans in line with the brief set by the EMEA Communications Director and local management
Development and implementation of the Social Media forward creative content planner in line with the brief set by the EMEA Social Media Head, integration with the PR plan as well as the development of a set number of stand alone SM campaigns across the quarter
Management of Groupon France’s PR agency and their outputs
Social Media channel management and weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting
Delivery of key business, PR and Social metrics linked to quarterly plans
Delivery of base line internal communications activities and management of the company intranet for these purposes – quarterly all hands meetings
