Overview:

Mellanox Technologies is looking for EDAIT Team Manager responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all EDAIT systems activity with hands on experience.
This includes managing all EDAIT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure and development of new technical solutions.
Overall day to day operations of managing system engineering activity includes hands on activity, definition and follow up of team projects and daily tasks, improve and maintain infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Manage a team of 3 people
Hold team meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote the team building and work to provide growth paths for individuals
Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing infrastructure and tools.
Define and develop automation scripts for IC Design environment
Design and implement Linux system orchestration and integration
Grid environment hands-on management, provisioning, configuration, design, expertise as well as ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting
Network licenses (e.g. FLEXlm) continuous maintenance, provisioning, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Documentation of systems and procedures
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration – CentOS/Solaris.
Shell scripting proficiency – bash/tcsh/python/perl.
Experience with FLEXlm licensing solutions.
Experience with network services: BIND, DHCP, Boot PXE, TFTP, NFS, NIS, LDAP.
Experience with revision control systems (e.g. RCS, GIT, SVN and Perforce).
Experience with NAS storage management: NetApp, Oracle ZFS, Isilon
Familiarity with distributed resource management systems like Univa Grid Engine (UGE) / Son of Grid Engine (SoGE) or similar.
Understanding of virtualization concepts
Understanding of orchestration tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible and the likes).
Effective trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Personal: Fast ramp up, quick learning, high motivation, independent
Two years or more of management experience
Strong leadership, people management and communication skills and well versed in managing conflicts and bringing technical resolution to open issues

Advantages:

Experience with one or more orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Experience with virtualization platforms – KVM/VMware, Virtual Box
