Mellanox Technologies is growing and looking for a Field Service Engineer with experience with delivery projects in datacenter environments.
In this position you will help Mellanox continue to maximize its customers’ satisfaction and business growth with the delivery of the highest quality and first class onsite technical services such as onsite network administration, field repairs, installations, configuration and preventative maintenance to our customers on their premises.


Perform all installations, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for new and existing Mellanox products at Mellanox’s customer site according to Mellanox standards and procedures
Site visits and conference calls with customers and partners
Reporting and timely escalating all observed problems to proper Mellanox operational escalation points
Assisting customers through testing-house, utility, etc., certification process
Actively communicating with customers/internal teams via email/telephone calls
Documenting technical and operational procedures clearly and concisely
Analytical minded with ability to work as a team player. Good interpersonal skills
Willing to work irregular hours as required

Minimum 3 years of experience in providing filed services and/or customer support for hardware & software network products
Fluent English and Hebrew
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers
Excellent communication and presentation/oral skills
Wide perspective system view
Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with network equipment and network protocols including IP, L2, L3 protocols
Experience with operating and configuring major vendors’ network equipment such as switches and routers
Willing to travel
B.S. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
Ethernet and/or InfiniBand Certifications
Knowledge with datacenter environment
Knowledge with cloud environment
Knowledge of Linux/Unix
