Mellanox Technologies is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer for EMEA to help drive revenues for our Ethernet Switch products.
As a Technical Marketing for Ethernet Switches, you will be responsible for driving revenue with local EMEA sales teams centered around 10/25/40/100G Ethernet switching for Data Center Enterprise/Cloud/Big Data/Data Analytics/HPC solutions. Uncover new opportunities & partner with existing engagements and evangelize the Mellanox Switch technologies to ensure sales success:
Support the channels, OEM and end user teams with Ethernet switch engagements
Determine business-case and feasibility of various projects
Work with Product Management and the Marketing teams on sales tools and collaterals
Create and evangelize field facing technical marketing collateral across Mellanox Switch technologies, including white papers, slide decks, demos, blogs etc
Introduce Mellanox’s products to new/existent accounts
Represent Mellanox at external events, including conferences, tradeshows, partner engagements, etc
Answer technical questions regarding hardware and software in sales calls/meetings
Assist the sales team with network architecture/designs
Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding product requirements, support tools, support methodologies
Overall experience at least 5-7 yrs of experience in the networking industry.
Strong preference for at least 2-3 yrs as technical marketing engineer or technical product manager. Prior experience could also include systems engineering, software engineering or similar roles.
Industry / technology expertise is required in the following areas: routing, switching, VxLAN/network virtualization, network management and operations, data center trends and technologies, network orchestration and automation systems, network platform offerings and solutions from industry vendors.
Engineering degree or relevant experience: 5+ years’ current, in Ethernet switching
Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate those skills into creative, marketable products
Excellent written and oral communication skills (English) as well as the ability to translate technology features into business benefits
Ability to comfortably present in front of internal and external audiences (large and small).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers
Up to 50% Travel required
