The Mellanox Marketing Team is seeking a highly motivated, customer and partner-facing Director with solid marketing skills to join us in leading the development of the Cloud Market. You will be responsible for marketing activities for the Cloud initiatives, which delivers solutions based on Mellanox interconnects for all of the major hypervisor cloud platforms spanning VMware/NSX, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Linux/KVM/OpenStack. As Director of Cloud Market Development, you will lead the marketing and product teams to set objectives, develop strategy, and drive go-to-market efforts for Mellanox Cloud solutions.
Develop and execute cloud market development strategy
Define messaging and value proposition and ensure delivered in consistently across all marketing platforms
Engage and develop key industry partnerships with software, OEM/ODM, and channel partners
Be the ‘go-to’ resource to support the sales and business development teams for customer engagements
Represent Mellanox and participate marketing activities including OpenStack, OCP, CORD, etc.
10+ years of relevant industry marketing experience
Solid technical background related to compute, storage, and networking infrastructure. Experience with virtualization and cloud management technologies desired.
Telecom industry experience and technology background including familiarity with OVS, SDN, NFV
Demonstrated business and marketing strategy and program development, with a track record of successful results
Demonstrated capability as a story teller; able to take complex technical products, features, and benefits, and turn them into stories that create engagement with customers
Ability to develop presentation and marketing collateral (white paper, blogs, etc)
Good presentation and speaking skills – Please point to examples of written work (white papers, etc), industry presentations given
