Mellanox Technologies Japan is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. In this high profile and challenging role, you will be responsible for both the strategy and the development of our new business initiatives with end users and big OEMs.
You will be charged with developing and expanding new business opportunities in this field, planning, forecasting and executing all sales activities into this market.
You will also be responsible for developing new business and account relationships with the key influencers and decision-makers within targeted accounts through successful positioning of the Mellanox solution portfolio.
At least 7 years relevant experience in Sales/ Technical Sales/FAE/Business Development in the Japanese market.
Knowledge of optical interconnect, datacenters and HPC
Experience dealing with end users like DoCoMo, SoftBank and the 3 big OEMs (Fujitsu, Hitachi and NEC)- advantage
Experience calling on prospect accounts to generate new revenue streams through direct customer engagement;
Aggressive and diligent attitude in reaching business objectives;
Ability to develop business plans, solution knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
Self-starter who is able to successfully work both independently and as part of a team.
Highly energetic personality who enjoys working in a growing team atmosphere.
Strong interpersonal skills
Some travel required.
Engineering background- advantage
Fluent in both English and Japanese
