Job Description / Skills Required

FusionOps is looking for a talented Webmaster to help create and manage our online presence through multiple websites. A brand-new position that you can help to define, the Webmaster works mainly with our Marketing and Technical teams; but will truly interact with all departments company-wide as they work to guide the look, feel and flow of multiple marketing and client websites. The Webmaster will take the lead in website creation and management, designing dynamic websites that produce rich, online user experiences, and managing all aspects of website security, performance, functionality, and goal attainment.

This job is based out of the FusionOps Mountain View or San Francisco offices.

Responsibilities

Debug issues that arise with website performance
Monitor and resolve all performance-related issues
Trouble-shoot site issues (e.g. content, links, order flows, registration flows and transaction logs)
Review statistics, monitor analytics, and recommend site modifications
Stay up-to-date on latest technologies and industry trends
Create and modify appearance of the content pages of the site
Fix links and pictures that aren't appearing properly
Lay out content on web pages
Test websites for usability
Test different browsers for browser compatibility with a website
Work cross-functionally to build components that meet business objectives
Act as team lead with backend web staff
Create functional specifications, accounting for performance, security, and industry best practices
Supports CMS publishing tools in conjunction with IT teams
Required Skills and Experience

At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a Webmaster role
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript
Experience with CMS platforms
Front-end development and/or graphic design background preferred
Experience reading and modifying existing JavaScript
Strong trouble shooting and attention to detail
The drive to own the site architecture
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and leadership
