Job Description / Skills Required

Reporting directly to the CMO, the VP of Product Marketing is responsible for overseeing the company's product innovation, design, and delivery. S/he has the overall responsibility for all product development, serving as a product representative, involved in marketing and selling and communicating product benefits to our clients. This role actively works with business leaders and product developers, both in their team as well as within business units.

S/he is able to see efficiencies, design optimization efforts and pivot teams towards transformative work from business-as-usual initiatives. Individual is responsible for generating a product roadmap that prioritized the business needs and understands how to oversee product developers to ensure seamless delivery of products. Product Marketing and Product Management experience is a must, including taking product through multiple lifecycles, has strong familiarity with the difficulties of innovation based development (timing/deliverables), and has the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Understanding the markets for each product and defining the market for those offerings will be critical to leading the execution of go-to-market strategies aimed at achievement of customer adoption, client satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

This job is based out of the FusionOps Mountain View or San Francisco offices.

Job Responsibilities
Spearhead strategy and execution for the product teams
Transform ideas into actionable concepts, projects, timelines, considering financial implications, marketing needs and business objectives
Focus on hands-on development of user experience for all products including out of box experience, content, interface design and UX
Develop strong partnership with Businesses to create well-rounded product offering that pushes the company objectives
Work directly with Product Management and Development/Operations to ensure strong and effective cross-functional product strategy, messaging and launches
Own market analysis and intelligence through market research, understanding prospect challenges, solution assessment and competitive review
Own the development of positioning and messaging of products and communicate the company and product messages to the different audiences (employees, clients, press, analysts, partners)
Develop go-to-market strategy of products and partner with businesses and the rest of marketing team to execute these programs
Look ahead and lead strategy and execution to future generations of products
Plan, create and lead the launch of new product offerings and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan


Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering. (MBA is preferred)
10+ years’ relevant business experience, with proven ability to successfully bring new products to market, on-time, on-budget, that achieve success in the analytics/ERP marketplace.
Extraordinary business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience executing market, competitive and other user research to develop product strategies that proved successful
A deep understanding of the product culture and life cycle
An entrepreneurial mindset
Superb verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve productive results
Extremely disciplined and organized approach to marketing, product and project management
Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness
Strong track record in performance analytics and making data driven decisions to continually optimize and drive the customer acquisition funnel.
Proven leadership and communication skills to successfully present materials and ideas to the marketing department, stakeholders in other departments, and senior executives
Balanced strategic and tactical thinker with strong presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills, and understanding of ROI analysis.
Experience with building, mentoring and coaching a team.
Project management experience, including clearly communicating project goals, vision, budgets and schedules
Candidates must be able to think on their feet and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
