Job Description / Skills Required

Reporting the CMO, the Head of Marketing Demand Generation will lead a team tasked with demand generation and marketing funnel optimization. Using inbound marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing, you will lead our campaign execution while growing our database and overall company revenues.

This job is based out of the FusionOps Mountain View or San Francisco offices.

Responsibilities:

Determines all the appropriate ways to move prospects and leads through the sales funnel.
Using inbound marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing to will grow our database and overall company revenues.
Leads a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Opportunities.
Set team activation strategy through analysis of historical marketing data.
Own relationship with sales and forge strong communication between marketing and sales.
Forecast and present to senior management and help increase marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Craft campaigns to target different communications to those groups.
Steward for the frequency & channel of communication.
Directs the marketing execution team to make sure that the plans for all those mediums come together and are cohesive.
Responsible for filling any gaps in the communication plan.
Should know all the data that’s available for segmentation and targeting and reporting, and should know all mediums for messaging – as well as all the levers that can be pulled from a content perspective.
Be part strategist, part planner, and part “artist” (being able to create something out of nothing)
Accountable for the success of the marketing campaign effort.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years progressive digital marketing experience
B2B Digital marketing experience (customer acquisition, lifecycle, brand, retention)
Previous supervisory experience
Experience working with cross functional teams
Experience extracting meaning from data and using this to optimize a team’s approach to digital marketing
Experience with marketing automation technology and analytics tools
