Robin Systems seeks an experienced Product Marketing Manager
Utilize strong previous technical background, business acumen, and customer orientation to design, develop, gather, syndicate and federate content pertinent to Robin’s expertise, ecosystem trends and technologies.
Work on cross-functional teams including Field Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Services, and Engineering to develop content reflecting solutions that provide business value.
Become intimately acquainted with customers’ business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and service history to present targeted business solutions.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Design and develop content for Robin’s various website’s landing pages and categories.
Understand customer’s business needs to determine appropriate business & technical content and related solutions.
Maintain proactive relationships with others at Robin in continuously expand, enhance, develop and promote existing and new to support Robin’s go-to-market, sales and field enablement
Develop and present customers’ & partners’ collaterals.
Work in tandem with Field Sales reps to assure relevancy and accuracy of info presented, messaging & positioning.
Work with Solutions Architects to develop content.
Interface closely with Field Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Services, and Engineering to create solutions that address customer’s critical needs.
BS in Computer Science or related, or equivalent work experience. Master’s or MBA will be considered an advantage.
The desire to work in a start-up environment
2+ years in previous technical oriented role as a developer, solution architect or tech product manager
8+ years of proven success as a Product Marketing Manager for an enterprise software sales company.
2+ years’ experience with database, storage, or other data-intensive environments.
2+ years’ experience with distributed computing, database, or related technologies.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies.
Experience creating and delivering customer facing perfected presentations, demos & collateral.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
Travel: Some travel required.
