In less than four years, we have integrated over 500 rail, bus and air transportation providers in 14 countries to become one of Europe's fastest growing online travel businesses. Our success to date has enabled us to raise more than $140m from leading investors including Battery, NEA, Atomico, Goldman Sachs, Silver Lake and Kleiner Perkins.
As our Commercial Director – B2C you will:
Own and consistently achieve ambitious growth targets in our core business of aggregating all of Europe's passenger transportation options, and making them available to consumers at the click of a button
Manage senior-level relationships with key partners among Europe's leading rail, bus and air operators
Work closely with our COO and other members of management to evolve and implement our in-country and new-market growth strategies
Lead, grow and develop our team of Country Managers
Collaborate with other GoEuro departments to further adapt our B2C offering to individual markets, and to develop and grow local and global B2C revenue streams
Profile
A proven and significant track record of developing and scaling revenue streams, managing senior customer relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and achieving ambitious growth targets, ideally in a fast-growing e-commerce environment and/or in top-management consulting
A keen sense of how to solve relevant, real-world problems with technology and excellent B2C products, and the ability to develop and implement. Online travel industry experience is a plus
A self-starter who combines strong strategic thinking, solid analytical skills and the ability to lead large, diverse teams across many markets to deliver results, on time and on budget
Excellent people and communication skills, a tolerance for ambiguity, and the ambition to contribute to building a great company
Absolutely fluent in English. Other languages a plus
