Job Description / Skills Required

Responsibilities:

Work closely with international buying team to provide merchandising and product strategy and help identifying correct products to source for the goods platform.
Analyze email performance of product selection in regards to forecast.
Research product landscape to keep current with industry trends and pricing dynamics in the consumer-product-goods space.
Identifying market trends, spotting opportunities and driving the buying team to capitalize upon these.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales analysis with the buying team.
Provide plans for sales and inventory.
Managing inventory and forecast quantity to purchase.
Optimizing stock levels.
Requirements:

3+ years experience in merchandising, e-commerce preferable.
Excellent knowledge of Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables etc.).
Knowledge of Google Analytics preferable.
Strong analytical & numerical skills.
Excellent communications skills – oral and written.
Direct responsibility for P&L of multi million pound categories.
Process driven – both in working style and ability to propose new processes.
An understanding of Multi brand retailing and e-commerce.
Flexible – being prepared to get involved in other areas of the business that might not necessarily be deemed a merchandising function.
Well organized and able to priorities workload.
A self-starter who does not need to be micro managed.
Evidence of maintaining focus in a whirlwind of change.
Has an eye for on site design.
Examples of having met weekly deadlines with moving targets.
Past experience displaying awareness for the impact of teammates across the organization (i.e., the company is bigger than me).
Minimum 2:1 degree.
