You will be responsible for helping to expand, diversify, and grow our display advertising business. You will (1) work to incrementally improve scale and performance of our existing display marketing channels by analyzing performance, designing, executing, and distributing the results of statistically-measured tests and (2) identifying new inventory sources and partners that we can leverage to drive further growth, test with them, and work cross-functionally with engineering and other technical teams to scale these new partners.

The right candidate will have a tenacious analytical and digital marketing mind, possessing a strong combination of marketing and business savvy and technical aptitude. Success will come through data driven insights, creative thinking, and a strong bias for action to find an opportunity, test, and iterate quickly. Responsibilities include:

Help size and identify the big growth opportunities/partners in Display, so that we can scale our business; help us determine which growth bets to make and how to expand

Determine what data is needed to optimize our business performance and drive insights we can action and determine how to collect and surface that data in an organized, accurate, and timely manner

Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods so we can improve campaign performance and iterate faster

Report the results of tests and analysis to the broader marketing and business organization

Work cross-functionally with our product and engineering team to scale the opportunities and learnings (e.g., designing and optimizing (1) bidding algorithms, (2) A/B testing frameworks, (3) data ingestion to improve targeting or ad performance)

This position requires a minimum of:

Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field, MBA preferred

3+ years of relevant work experience with an emphasis in marketing or analytics

‘Builder’ mentality – identify problems and opportunities quickly, eager to find and try solutions to address them, and not afraid get the data for a deep dive

Comfortable with a fast-paced, start-up type environment with a bias for action

Proven ability to extract meaningful insights from data and translate them to actions

SQL, Excel, and Tableau knowledge strongly preferred
