Groupon Goods is seeking a Strategic Planner. Based in the Milan Head Office you will be at the forefront of the team helping to select and plan a range of deal categories for the Goods platform. Taking responsibility for the portfolio of deals you will follow trends across all categories. Analyse deal performance past and future and assess deal economics. You will be involved in hands-on tasks alongside experienced professionals and entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities :
• Choose the best deals to feature in an assigned region taking into account Gross Revenue, Gross Billings and customer experience maximisation
• Manage the long-term portfolio of deals in assigned categories, working directly with Buyers & Senior Buyers
• Analyse buying patterns specific to the region and to similar regions
• Identify trends in new categories by keeping abreast of new restaurant openings, new leisure activities and new beauty/wellness treatments
• Utilise deal knowledge within the team and region to fine tune deal economics with the sales teams and to position deal marketing with editorial
• Manage plans for stock levels and communicate this to the Buying team

• Analyse Email, SEO, SEM, Promotion, and mobile performance

Requirements:
• Experience or strong interest in entrepreneurship, marketing, and/or retail businesses
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions with incomplete information
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive for results

• Fluent English (plus possibly as a second language: Spanish)
• Strong analytical skills
• Degree preferably within Economics, Management or Business Studies (other subjects are also welcome)
