The exceptionally talented team member who fills this role must combine sound business judgment, insane attention to detail and a proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders. The individual in this role will be responsible for helping to define and deliver deals and content that drive value for LivingSocial customer. The role will require a dynamic individual who is comfortable operating with both sides of your brain. This role requires digging deep into large pools of data in order to refine our merchandising assortment strategy, analyzing performance to ensure that we’re delivering the best possible product to our consumers. Equally important, this role must be have superior influencing skills, working with our sales to ensure proper attention on key merchandised events.
Partner with our Revenue Management team to analyze sales and site traffic data to develop a crisp, clear merchandising assortment strategy.
Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure delivery of deals to support daily inventory levels and targeted merchandised events.
Conduct regular audits of our deal inventory, working with sales and other team to resolve issues at a deal, market or category level.
Partner with Revenue Management and Product teams to identify & resolve systematic deal quality issues.
3-5 years of relevant business experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or online operations required
Knowledge of Excel and Tableau
Familiarity with key business metrics.
Proven problem solving skills; systematic, analytical thinker
Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives
Constantly delivers progress & will not allow the perfect to become the enemy of the good.
Deadline driven with bias towards ruthless prioritization.
Bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Entrepreneurial in the truest sense. Must make things happen using resources that either don’t exist or aren’t under your direct control.
