Lumoid ( is a simple way to rent, try and buy different kinds of consumer electronics, like photography gear, drones, wearables and audio gear.
We are a YCombinator backed company, that's well funded, has thousands of paying users, and we're growing fast. We're looking for the right person to head up marketing at Lumoid – run all of our digital marketing initiatives and manage our passionate community of gadget enthusiasts. This is a full-time position based in New York, NY.

2+ years of digital marketing experience
Experience in editorial and content marketing, is excellent at story-telling and can handle creative projects.
Ability to balance a highly analytical, metrics focused approach with the strong creative mind needed to develop breakthrough campaigns.
Good knowledge of social media, SEO and advertising

Prior Experience:
Has worked with a company that sells or has sold a product or service to consumers.
Has built and scaled campaigns on Facebook and Google (PPC), as well as evaluated, set up and scaled campaigns through retargeting ad networks.
Deeply analytical and data driven; Candidate should be proficient with CPA, LTV, attribution models, regression models, and cohort analysis.

Duties will include:
Working alongside the CEO to implement fundamental growth, while determining the core marketing channels.
Using a data-driven approach to identify the highest possible areas of impact across the customer’s journey.
Building, designing and pushing segment-specific strategies for all growth-related channels while leading efforts to test and optimize new channels
Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers and continually refine our process to convert customers.
