Job Description / Skills Required
We are seeking experienced, Design for Test (DFT) focused designers to join our DFT Team. Your expertise in deep submicron technology, ability to work with a team, and good communication skills will be highly leveraged to implement DFT solutions on a variety of Mellanox Integrated Circuit products while also helping to drive DFT direction across the company.
Roles and responsibilities of members of the DFT Team include the following:
Work with layout engineers on the implementation of synthesis and scan insertion flows in support of high frequency, highly testable designs
Work with the Backend team on timing constraints definition to include DFT modes of operation in block and top level timing closure
Develop and deliver documentation for Product and Test Engineering to enable development and debug of test patterns
BSEE/MSEE is required
5-10 years of relevant industry experience with large, high frequency SoC products utilizing sub 45nm technologies
Deep and broad knowledge of industry-standard DFT techniques and methods from front-end design through to pattern support on ATE, in one or more of the following domains:
Synopsys DFT Compiler hierarchical scan insertion methodologies.
Mentor TestKompress-based hierarchical atpg methodologies.
BIST testing, including MBIST, LBIST, and SERDES BIST testing.
JTAG, including 1149.1, 1149.6, and IEEE 1500 standards.
DDR3/4 DRAM DFT, characterization, and production test.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
TCL and Perl mastery are a required; Make and Python expertise preferred
Preference for local candidates to either Westborough/Boston area.
