Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced Ethernet Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to work with customers, OEM and channel partners to provide solution designs, conduct on-site hands-on demonstrations and drive proof-of-concept initiatives with strategic accounts.
The role is responsible for giving product presentations to describing how Mellanox products provide the optimum solution to their cloud, datacenter, storage and HPC projects.
We are expanding our Ethernet activities in Indonesia, and are seeking to fill this position in Jakarta. This individual will work with Mellanox Country Manager and Systems Engineers to introduce our technology into new accounts, technically manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for business growth in target market segments.
Introduce Mellanox’s products to new/existent accounts
Answer technical questions regarding hardware and software in sales calls
Analyze customer requirements and recommend creative architectures and solutions that implement Mellanox products.
Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding product requirements, support tools, support methodologies
Provide an effective bridge between end users and Mellanox’s engineering team
Assist in architecture definition with customers and provide technical support for evaluation and proof of concept projects to reach successful completion
Maintain close contact with engineers and management at customers and provide status and new project information
Debug HW and/or SW problems at customer installations and work with customers in fine-tuning and benchmarking applications
Assist end users in taking Mellanox platforms to production
Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering
Minimum 5 years in technical sales/support experience or equivalent
Experience in low latency / high bandwidth interconnect such as InfiniBand for HPC, Storage, High Frequency Trading, Cloud a plus
Experience in 10G/40G Ethernet project and SDN a plus
Technical disciplines, e.g., infrastructure architecture in an enterprise data center, information technology, software development, or hardware architecture/design
Good verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to handle and resolve critical customer issues/problems resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
Travel may be required within the region
