We are looking for a Business Analyst for the Goods team. The role combines helping performance, manage a team of buyers through regular reporting with designing and implementing reports to allow the buying team source the right products from the right vendors to stay on trend with the markets. Building and supporting efficient, stable and usable reports to solve business problems
Ensure SQL queries and reports are efficient and perform optimally
Understand Teradata table structure and create on demand SQL data pulls
Respond to business information requests by creating Tableau Dashboards using complex data
Working with stakeholders to gather requirements
Continuous development of BI solutions
You’re a problem solver and an innovator. We’re looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to mentor others and see projects through to completion. You’ll have prior experience of hands on technical troubleshooting, and a real thirst for expanding your own knowledge.
If you have the following knowledge and experience, we want to talk to you
5+ years experience in a similar role
Passionate about data and automation
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering preferred
Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Significant experience using Tableau
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Hive/Hadoop knowledge is a plus
Must thrive in a fast-moving, multi-tasking, work environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent team-working skills required
Excellent written & verbal communication skills required
