Groupon is seeking a tenacious, self-starting, Email Campaign Manager to join the Groupon Goods team in Chicago. The Email Campaign Manager plays a pivotal role in developing Groupon Goods' email marketing and innovation strategy, and creating and deploying email campaigns across all Goods categories. As a result, the successful candidate will be a strong merchandiser and campaign manager, who is proficient in lifecycle and promotional marketing tactics, and possesses the creativity and passion to innovate in one of the largest email marketing companies in the world.
Lead the development and execution of the Groupon Goods email marketing and innovation strategy
Manage step-by-step process of email campaigns including but not limited to coordination with design and editorial, defining template structure with merchandising, structuring A/B tests, setting up campaign and delivery, and reporting on results
Identify optimization opportunities of email components
Develop deep understanding of campaign performance by running reports to track trends in email engagement metrics and financial performance
Work closely with Groupon's central merchandising team on calendar planning, project prioritization, and performance tracking
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of email marketing experience
Deep knowledge of email best practices and experience designing and executing A/B/n tests
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects
Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently derive insights from data
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
