If you love the cross-section of sales, operations, product, and marketing, have huge intellectual horsepower, possess an uncanny ability to get things done, and have comfort with ambiguity, this position is for you.
You will lead the North American F&D business, including the following:
Be accountable for our North American F&D P&L, which requires managing both your direct team and leading cross-functional teams including technology, marketing, merchandising, and sales
Develop the F&D business’ strategic planning process
Execute the F&D business strategy that includes supply, product, and go-to-market in all of Groupon’s North American markets
Drive new business sales, including the national F&D sales team, which can drive meaningful P&L shifts
Ensure successful implementation of new F&D initiatives, including new product design and market fit, go-to-market, sales pitch and organization, business development partnerships, and other initiatives to drive P&L growth
Partner with Product and Marketing to deliver successful go-to-market plans for our Cash Back Deals product and any other new F&D initiative
A broad overall operator with experience in multiple areas of P&L growth
An energizer, personally excited about progress towards goals and dedicated towards building and influencing a team that can deliver
Deeply data driven, living by metrics and taking appropriate (and swift) action from data
A leader with a bias for action, getting things done quickly and thoughtfully
Someone with demonstrated confidence to challenge the status quo in an ever-evolving business
10+ years professional experience. The ideal candidate will have been a product and/or marketing leader in an online/eCommerce company. Great customer focused intuition.
MBA (or other advanced degree) preferred, but not required
Proven analytic and problem solving skills to influence executives in multiple functions
Demonstrated management of a P&L
