Our iOS app is at the heart of the Groupon story. The Groupon iOS app connects millions of consumers with local merchants and services that they love all over the world. Globally, more than 60% of Groupon’s customers use a mobile device to purchase deals and goods.We are looking for talented developers to join our development team to help us launch new innovative features and make our top rated user experience even better.
The Groupon iOS app consistently maintains a 4.5-5 star rating and is ranked as a top free app in the Apple App Store. We were awarded “Mobile Commerce Award” at the 2015 Internet Retailer Excellence Awards and in 2014 we were honored as one of the “Best of 2014” apps by Apple, and we were a key launch partner for Apple Pay. Develop and build mobile e-commerce experiences utilized by merchants and millions of consumer devices worldwide
Own the technical planning and implementation of new iOS features and capabilities
Work closely with UX/UI, product management and other teams to conceive, create, and design unique mobile experiences
Add new functionality, resolve complex problems, and ship defect free code at a rapid pace
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
5+ years of experience in software design and development
Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK
Excellent Objective-C or Swift programming skills
Strong intuition for UX and consumer behavior
Independent, self-motivated, and avid technologist
