Groupon Goods inspires our customers with unique, high-quality products and delights them with the best value deals on the market. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a product leader to join our journey of transforming the company from a deals company that relies on email marketing to a shopping site that shoppers visit first whenever they need to purchase a service or product online.

At Groupon, a Product Manager is effectively the CEO of their area, working with designers, developers and senior management to invent new features and experiences. This role is both technical and business facing and the successful candidate should be analytical, creative and comfortable writing technical specifications and leading meetings. You will work with both business and development teams in the US and internationally to help create a stellar customer and merchant experience on the Goods technology platform, primarily focusing on Goods vendor integration.

Responsibilities include:

Lead product roadmap and priorities definition in collaboration with leaders in sales, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, operations

Be the end-to-end owner of the products and working with development team to establish technical requirements for overall functionality

With each launch, drive adoption, measure results, optimize product, present wins, celebrate team.

Ensure clear communication and coordination across the business, customer support, finance, design and development teams

Help define and influence the long-term Groupon product roadmap

The ideal candidate…

Has a degree in Computer Science or Engineering / Math, MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

5+ years strong product experience with a track record of successful delivering business impacting projects.

Able to translate complex business goals into clearly understandable product specifications.

Makes data-driven decisions and extracts insights from product metrics.

Has an entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action.

Derives insights by immersing themselves into their customers' frame of reference

Can influence peers and senior management through clear thinking and communication.

Learns by quickly testing out new hypotheses.

Manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Has experience in achieving consistently good results in a development environment where teams are distributed globally (preferred).

Has ecommerce experience related to vendor integration (preferred).
