This position will be responsible for existing National Retail Account business models as well as National Accounts under development. This is a hands-on, individual contributor and strategic role focused on driving increased revenue. In addition, the National Account Manager will develop strong partnerships, develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plan with strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability of longevity in role and progression in organization and ability to overachieve sales goals and targets.

What You Will Do

Plan, develop and implement account and territory specific action plans
Identify and deliver operational business plans
Exceed the assigned revenue goals and objectives
Make recommendations for continued growth
Develop new business opportunities with distributors and retailers
Work with marketing to develop specific sales strategies
Oversee proper merchandising is being executed throughout all partner doors
Build and develop partner relationships with key stakeholders
Analyzing customer trends and sales performance to maximize business
Manage the implementation of the Sales plan
Lead account management and joint business planning
Manage forecasting accurate pipelines and inventory management
Provide performance review and suggest improvements
Monitor and report on market performance and provide relevant reports and information

Skills We’re Stoked About

5-7+ years of Sales account management experience in a consumer technology environment (distribution, retail or brand)
Proven contact to top level purchase management of major retail chains like Media Markt-Saturn, Conrad, Interdiscount, Amazon, Migros, etc.
In-depth experience in Sales, Distribution, Retail and account management
Ability to demonstrate year-on-year sales growth
Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
Proven track record of longevity in role with progression in organization and ability to overachieve sales goals and targets
Previous leadership roles on significant projects
Entrepreneurial attitude. Able to work independently with minimal guidance
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Must have a current/valid driver’s license
Business/commerce degree, Master preferred
Ability to travel frequently
Native in German & fluent English, other languages are a plus
