With over 150+ million users who have downloaded our app, Groupon is the leader in mobile e-commerce. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to further accelerate our growth and success in the mobile space. This individual will own Groupon’s mobile marketing efforts to drive app downloads and customer engagement.


You will be responsible for developing and executing our app user acquisition strategy, via organic, managed (in-house) and paid channels. This includes: Identifying opportunities to drive mobile downloads from Groupon’s own merchandising channels (e.g., desktop site, mobile site, email) and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to implement and test those opportunities
Being the end-to-end owner of the product components required to drive downloads from our own properties and working with development teams to establish functional requirements for overall functionality (based on business requirements)
Help define, build, and prioritize the US and International roadmap for Groupon’s mobile web and touch product. Interface with and influence the long-term Groupon Mobile product roadmap
Ensuring our paid mobile app campaigns are delivering within budget and meeting our efficiency targets
Establishing and managing relationships with external partners/agencies/publishers, including negotiating pricing terms, managing volume expectations, holding partners accountable for rigorous efficiency targets, and managing the contract and IO process
Working with design/creative teams and/or marketing agencies to develop creative assets and strong ad copy for mobile marketing campaigns
Ensure clear communication and coordination throughout the product development process between and across multiple teams including the business, customer support, finance, design and development teams
Be the resident expert in Mobile app downloads, touch conversions, interstitials, App store optimization and other mobile app download techniques and tactics
Tracking and reporting on performance of mobile campaigns to the organization
Planning and executing methodical tests to measure the incremental value of our efforts
Forecasting our KPIs (downloads, activations, etc.) for future quarters and years
Managing and developing a team of direct reports
Required Skills:

Bachelor degree in analytical or technical field
5+ years of experience in marketing or digital marketing or mobile app marketing
Rigorous analytical and quantitative skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong eye for good creative and effective ad copy
Ability to translate complex business goals into clearly understandable product specifications
Deep desire to understand our customers, and their motivations
Manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment
Passion for building incredible and engaging user experiences around email, across different client technologies (mobile and web)
Preferred Qualifications:

Mobile marketing or mobile e-commerce experience
