Mellanox Technologies offers customers a portfolio of market leading high-performance networking solutions. The Ethernet market offers significant growth potential for the company in segments such as but not limited to Datacenter Networks, Cloud, hyper convergence, Storage, Scale-out hosting, Big Data Analytics and HFT.
We are looking for a sales professional to grow market share of our Ethernet portfolio in France. The focus is on finding prospects and converting them to customers. The Sales manager will also have to manage existing accounts and make them grow.
The role will appeal to individuals that enjoy generating and closing new accounts & opportunities and offers them the opportunity to apply their tenacity, flair and persistence. The position reports to the Sr. Sales Director South Europe.
In this high profile and challenging role, you will be responsible for generating sales of our market leading Ethernet solutions within new & existing verticals in France.
You will be responsible for developing new business and account relationships with all stakeholders including key executives and within the potential client organizations. You must be confident and comfortable in selling to all levels including Director and CxO level.
The role is both customer and partner focused. You will be successful by leveraging existing relationships in both types of organization to meet your targets. You will be supported by the Distribution and OEM sales teams.
You will be a sales leader who is able to persuade and influence opinions as well as overcome challenges confidently while recommending the best solution for the customer.
Developing proposals for presentation to customers and partners.
Co-coordinating account resources with representatives from sales management, marketing, pre-sales and product management.
Business forecasting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, and pipeline development) required.
3-10 years "current" experience in Sales/Business Development in the enterprise Ethernet market. The ideal candidate should bring with him a strong networking sales background and previous experience working for a well-known networking company, Reseller or Systems Integrator.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement.
Strong motivation for closing business and meeting sales targets.
An understanding of the business issues and technology trends of this market is a must.
Additional experience in selling systems, storage or software is advantageous.
A highly energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a small but growing team. Prior experience working in a start-up environment is advantageous.
Degree educated or equivalent industry experience and accreditation.
Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
Outstanding presentation skills required.
Experience with SFDC is preferred, as is having undertaken any sales methodology training.
Significant travel required. Approx. 50%.
Must: French native speaker and Fluent English
