The exceptionally talented marketing leader who fills this role must combine sound business judgment, world-class management chops and an ability to directly and indirectly influence stakeholders in order to drive results.  We need an experienced marketer who will help LivingSocial innovate and optimize our marketing efforts.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for optimizing marketing content across all lines of business and channels for LivingSocial. This manager will lead marketing efforts across multiple areas of focus including but not limited to: campaign production planning, scheduling, marketing messaging and prioritization, content testing and optimization, and content strategy. The Marketing Manager will guide team members to leverage best practices, historical data, market trends, customer insights and key reporting tools to evaluate and optimize the overall campaign content strategy.  This role will play a lead role in providing guidance on tool and product improvements for web, mobile web and app platforms to cross-functional teams. This person will also drive the planning and strategy of the marketing content plan across various channels (on-site/app, Email, Brand, CRM, Affiliates, Display, SEM, SEO) and will liaise with key cross-functional teams to enhance consumer merchandising experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

Develop, lead and manage design and message strategy for marketing campaigns including sales, promotions, and cross channel campaigns.
Manage distribution of all assets to ensure channel deadlines are met and campaigns are launch as planned
Direct and manage all vertical and cross channel marketing teams on creative and messaging, asset allocation, and tracking/reporting responsibilities
Create and optimize all site widgets including homepage widgets, subnavs, and mobile collection cards to drive CTR on site
Act as LivingSocial Marketing project manager for all new pilot initiatives
Develop and lead strategies to optimize social, editorial, PR, merchant marketing, and SEO
Work closely with Sr. Strategy Planner and Head of Marketing to ensure optimal conversion and deliver a best in class customer experience
Lead cross-functional efforts for all national campaigns in order to create a highly cohesive campaign
Create all landing pages and curated merchandise shops to create an optimal customer experience including enhanced navigation and intuitive deal categorization
Work with marketing team to ensure meaningful differentiation for the LivingSocial consumer experience from that of Groupon.

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent required
Extensive experience in creative message development and execution
Previous role managing marketing campaigns for SEM, Affiliates, Email, Display, Mobile, Social and SEO
Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
Familiarity with key business metrics – solid analytical expertise. Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels (email, mobile notifications, social) preferred
Experience managing creative production at scale, preferably in an ecommerce environment
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Tableau
Proven problem solving skills; systematic, analytical thinker
Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve
Strong organizational and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives
