The Goods team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the creation, implementation and refinement of key strategic products and technologies that impact customer experience across Groupon sites globally. This role is both technical and business facing and the successful candidate should be a self starter, analytical, creative and comfortable product specifications and leading meetings.
You will work with both business and development teams in the US and internationally to help create a stellar customer experience on web, mobile web, android and iOS platforms.
Being the end-to-end owner of the product and working with development team to establish technical requirements for overall functionality (based on business requirements)
Create functional specifications and manage the build of the product
Ensure clear communication and coordination across the business, customer support, finance, design and development teams
Help define and influence the long-term Groupon product roadmap
Computer Science Degree or Engineering / Math and 3+ years experience in product management, an eCommerce focus would be considered a plus. CS degree can be substituted with 5+ years product management experience delivering technology products.
Proven experience communicating with and achieving consistently good results in a development environment where teams are distributed globally.
Ability to translate complex business goals into clearly understandable product specifications
Strong cross group collaboration and communication skills
Manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment
