We’re looking for a positive, well-rounded, kickass copywriter to join the GoPro Creative Team. The copywriter will help bring the GoPro brand and products to life across a variety of mediums. Us: a high-fiving, humorous, hard-working team of talented people with a passion for killer creative. You: a mid-level copywriter looking to roll up their sleeves and dig in on a little of everything—from sales sheets and product messaging to global campaigns. Could this be you?
What You Will Do
Write copy for a wide variety of communications, including web, emails, retailer assets, packaging, video scripts, advertising and more.
Develop copy for new product launches, both hardware and software. Naming, messaging, features and benefits, etc.
Collaborate with designers, art directors and other writers on creative solutions for all mediums. 
Skills We’re Stoked About
3+ years of copywriting experience at a relevant brand or agency. Portfolio or samples are required.
You take initiative, stay organized, and own all work from kickoff to handoff.
You can write in the GoPro voice, and are down to get a little irreverent.
You’re eager to think and write conceptually, and partner with creative teams on big ideas.
You can work with engineers and product people to turn techy concepts into easy reading.
You can partner with cross-functional stakeholders, take feedback and refine messaging to meet their objectives.
You have the organization skills to handle multiple projects with confidence and keep the positive vibes flowing in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
You embrace the art of brevity.
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, advertising, marketing or communications preferred.
You must work on-site at our San Mateo, CA office.
Your own GoPro camera. Mounts and accessories are included.
