What You Will Do
OrCAD Schematic design for camera and drone accessories hardware, component selection, PCB layout review, releasing electrical BOM and associate engineering drawings, design review, develop documentation, and hardware test plans to ensure high product quality.
Design, analyze, validate, and characterize hardware design, determines their performance characteristic and documentation.
Travel to partner CM sites to conduct board bring-up and to troubleshoot on-site assembly issues for engineering builds.
Collaborate with the cross functioning team such as mechanical, firmware, software, product definition, document control, and program management.
Collaborate with external vendors during development phase for DFM reviews, releasing specification for RFQ, releasing electrical BOM and drawings, and prototype or engineering build support.
Support internal teams to troubleshoot issues throughout a product life-cycle
Support other engineering activities needed by the organization.
 
Skills We’re Stoked About
Bachelor Science or degree in Electrical, and above or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in electrical hardware development
Experience in hardware product development and with organization developing consumer electronics, portable devices.
Familiar with the design process from concept through board development and system integration.
Experience in designing digital hardware system for Microprocessor, SoC, DSP, DDR SDRAM, NAND FLASH, EEPROM, and High Speed Transceivers.
Experience in various digital bus architectures and interface such as I2C, USB, I2S, UART, USB, SPI MIPI, and LVDS signals.
Experience in any of consumer product design such as audio codec, audio amplifier, and battery/power management.
Experience in any of consumer wireless design such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and RF antenna circuitry.
Experience in A/D or D/A converter and different sensor technology such as Thermal sensor, Gyro, Barometer, Hall sensor, etc.
Familiar with the measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, digital analyzer, LCR meter, etc. and able to get hands dirty in electrical testing.
Experience in Signal Integrity, Power Analysis using industry standard simulation tools.
Familiar with consumer EMC compliance and certification such as CE, FCC, etc.
Proven ability in analyzing root cause, complex design debugging, and problem solving with engineering test equipment.
Ability to work independently most of the time with minimal guidance and handling multiple tasks.
Ability to work cross‐functionally along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
Working knowledge of ORCAD Capture CIS and Allegro or other EDA tools.
Hands on experience in Camera, Smart Phone or Drone hardware design is plus.
Proficient language skills in English and Mandarin.
