Job Description / Skills Required

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead Merchandising Strategy and Planning for the Goods business. You’ll develop and deliver the strategy to ensure that we’re featuring the right content to the right customer via the right platform & channel. You will partner closely with the business leader to understand business goals and priorities. You will also work cross functionally with the Marketing, Brand and Creative teams. Bias for action, strong communication and problem solving skills, confidence and ability to self-start are necessities for this role.

Essential Areas of Responsibility:

Create a quarterly Merchandising plan and tactics to deliver on business goals, including Merchandising themes and large scale campaigns

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring the Merchandising strategy to life and ensure it is flawlessly executed

Partner with Inventory Management team to secure appropriate inventory to support strategy

Drive clear, transparent communication to all stakeholders regarding requirements and timelines

Leverage consumer insights and data to effectively target and engage customers

Utilize a data driven hypothesis to prioritize business specific initiatives (Blogging, large-scale campaigns, loyalty program, referral, frequency, etc)

Lead post-mortem for large scale campaigns/events with key stakeholders to document learnings, wins and opportunities. Provide campaign/event review (including financial results) to leaders and partners.

5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Retail, Marketing or Merchandising
E-commerce experience is preferred
Demonstrated track record of driving results through cross-functional teams
