Who we are:
Our mission is to provide a compelling experience for Groupon customers by allowing them to discover local experiences and interesting shopping deals based on their use of the Groupon applications: Mobile, Web and Email.
What you will do:
You will work with a small team on, leveraging cutting edge machine learning algorithms to create user models and deal models that allow Groupon applications to provide a totally personalized experience for the 100M+ Groupon Users. The models you create will predict a Groupon user’s interest based on customer targeting data and user's pattern of use. You will also get to train models that leverage meta-data, cookies, and device IDs to track and resolve the interests of over 100M GRPN users. These models will also be used to create sophisticated algorithmic merchandizing strategies to match users with Groupon's awesome marketplace.
