Based in London, reporting to the Head of Merchant Development, and part of the EMEA Groupon Goods Global Team, the newly hired Merchant Development Manager will support the EMEA Logistics Team delivering world-class services to our base of merchant partners.
She/He is responsible for providing amazing service to our merchant partners, assisting them with their Groupon Goods feature, providing guidance and coordination in shipping logistics, and fostering strong, long-term relationships. This role interacts across multiple departments and functions.
This role is pivotal to helping a major transformation in the way Groupon Goods operates over next 18 months, both in impacting customer Customer satisfaction scores and enabling merchants to help Groupon transform the service levels.
Engage with Merchants to drive agreed deliverables in terms of speed, quality and cost, such as, but not limited to, GDP and Cycle Time;
Develop robust relationships with both Merchant companies and also Groupon internal stakeholders who manage the brands/distributors we will be dealing with fostering strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders (Merchandising, Finance, Product/Engineering and Legal) to achieve the team’s overall vision;
Participate in the design and implementation of complex projects across the company with a high impact on Groupon’s vendors and customers;
Be a fundamental part of Merchant Operations team that will transform current workflows to be more scalable while driving efficiency, tools/process improvement and automation.
Client Services/Client Management experience

Entrepreneurial and commercial attitude
English fluent (written and oral)
Experience in Logistics, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain management (desirable)
EU languages (desirable)
