The Groupon Goods team source and merchandise a vast array of products, ranging from Consumer Electronics, Home & Garden to Fashion. This business unit has expanded rapidly and is generating unprecedented amount of business. Due to the successful growth of our Groupon Goods tier, we are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing Change Manager (SPCM) EMEA who will be part of the EMEA Pricing Guideline Project, which is one of the top 5 initiatives in the Groupon Goods Business.

This Senior Pricing Change Manager (SPCM) will be responsible for the development of the pricing methodology in the UK, who will create foundations that will eventually build processes that can be rolled out to other EMEA countries. Key areas of responsibility include;

Change management
Project management
Pricing & Product Catalogue
Short term:

The SPCM will fix the short term data requirement needed for pricing but also help define the long term data strategy. There will be a predominant focus on collecting the Like-For-Like product data (attributes) and pricing that will define the framework of the data structure. Other responsibilities will include: Define equivalent brand definition; matching methodology and matching parameters; liaising with the Product Catalogue team to ensure requirements are embedded over the long-term.

Long term:

The SPCM will be central to the change management roll-out of pricing across the EMEA markets and the role will be the sole point of reference for adoption, training and implementation of key pricing initiatives. Other responsibilities will include: Project management, Change Management and day-to-day tasks as required by the project plan. The success of Pricing will be hinged on how Pricing is adopted across the teams.

Core Responsibilities:

Identify product level attribute detail based on a predefined set of key attributes
Identify similar or equivalent brand in key competitors
Understand matching nuances and document them in a matching methodology template
Understand parameters required to match a product and document them in matching methodology template
Partner with buyers across all categories and commercial teams to ensure the end goal of construction and adoption of pricing systems are central to success.
Responsible for Change management and roll out of pricing across EMEA markets
Lead thinking on pricing adoption and usability
Feed into the creation of central pricing frameworks and methodologies
Contribute significantly on the project management elements of the project
Delivering day-to-day tasks in accordance to the centralised plan
Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in Pricing or Change Management. Experience of ‘pricing basket roll out’ is also essential.
Educated to degree level or equivalent with a 2.1 or above
Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
Advanced excel skills (e.g. high comfort level consolidating and joining data, creating formulas, translating complex information to communicable insight)
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships inside Groupon Goods
Must be well-organized and possess an entrepreneurial attitude
Must be able to work autonomously and prioritize among multiple projects with limited supervision
Confident and competent to expertly communicate ideas to internal parties. Proven experience is desirable.
