GoPro is seeking a top tier candidate for the Senior Product Marketing Manager – Cameras role. This position will serve as a category expert and voice of the GoPro consumer. It will be the Senior Product Marketing Manager’s responsibility to transform our innovative camera lineup into a clear, compelling narrative that inspires users to capture and share their favorite moments.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Cameras will drive GoPro’s global consumer go-to-market planning for our diverse camera lineup. This critical role will be responsible for helping manage strategy and execution through the full product lifecycle (ideation to launch and sustain efforts). The Senior Product Marketing Manager will also lead cross-functional programs tied to their products with teams across the company to deliver an amazing end-to-end consumer experiences.

Based in San Mateo, CA this person will collaborate with teams across the organization in product, research and operations, marketing and communications to bring our mission and strategy to life. With the support and direction of the team lead, the Senior Product Marketing Manager- Cameras will have the following responsibilities:


Define differentiated positioning/messaging based on competitive activities and consumer insights, and land it across all communications channels
Partner with software, accessories and drone product marketing leads to ensure we have cohesive, consumer-first thinking and execution across GoPro’s full product ecosystem
Develop and manage global consumer go-to-market plan for GoPro’s consumer and prosumer cameras, from defining objectives, goals and strategies, to measuring results and ROI
Lead marketing development of key assets including packaging, messaging and messaging across key retail and web consumer touchpoints
Create and execute end-to-end launch plan and process for respective hardware products in partnership with key stakeholders and teams across the company
Supervise Marketing team programs and plans to ensure they are on-strategy and product appropriate to promote awareness and drive adoption for GoPro
Support product planning by owning competitive analysis
Partner with Research and Analytics to gather learnings for new product releases in value proposition, pricing, market sizing and target audience
Manage product sustain planning and end of life strategy for respective SKUs
Represent and evangelize GoPro’s full end-to-end experience at internal and external events
Experience with business planning, P&L management and product lifecycle management a plus


BS required, MBA a plus
5-7 years of experience in the B2C technology space, ideally in hardware products
Passion for consumer technology
Solid experience and proven track record in go-to-market planning, launching products and services, product and/or integrated marketing and partnering with wide range on internal disciplines
Ability to take a technology product/service and develop marketing plans based on a complete end-to-end experience and key company objectives
Brings a strategic perspective to help lead marketing initiatives, and a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork to daily workflow
Ability to solve complex problems, work through difficult issues and recommend innovative solutions
Skill is analyzing data and draw logical, actionable conclusions
Operates with a bias towards action and has a sense of accountability for projects and goals
Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Embraces ambiguity and drives clarity where there’s confusion
Ideally has in-depth understanding of GoPro product offerings
Thrives in working across cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales and Integrated Marketing
