GoPro is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for the development, operation and support of network and telecom/telephony services. This includes the various LANs and WANs as well as Cisco Unified Communications, wireless and wired devices, and other such services. This person will work with IT management to design, deploy and operate high performance, highly available networks and services spanning multiple datacenters and geographies. Work with internal and external partners to match solutions to business imperatives.

What You Will Do

Analyze, design and deploy technology supporting the networking and telephony needs of a global business
Configure and maintain network infrastructure including Ethernet fabrics, switching, wireless, firewalls, routers and a variety of internet services
Design and operate multiple network services such as LANs, WANs, CANs and VoIP
Coordinate and perform network maintenance, upgrades and expansions
Diagnose and resolve performance and/or stability issues with networks and voice services
Develop and perform failover, performance and diagnostic tests
Develop procedural and technical documentation
Assist with integrations between multiple technologies
Participate in 24/7 support of corporate network services
Ensure conformance with asset and license tracking protocols
Skills We’re Stoked About

Proven LAN and WAN design experience in a large enterprise environment
Expert level experience administering switches, routers and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment
Ability to configure and deploy network hardware such as switches, routers and firewalls
Experience using WAN acceleration technologies
Expert knowledge of network protocols and supporting services
Working knowledge of Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of VoIP technology and services
Knowledge of physical network infrastructure
Network hardware maintenance planning and scheduling
Experience providing support for disaster recovery, office expansions and consolidations, data synchronization, network performance, etc.
Have performed upgrades, performance monitoring, and system audit tasks
Experience providing technical mentoring and guidance to other team members
Proven ability to document technical and operational guides
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems
Detail oriented and able to think independently
Experience developing and presenting business cases
Broad and deep experience with Cisco or Brocade network hardware
Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
Experience with AWS networking and firewalls
Experience with Cisco, Meraki or Aerohive wireless infrastructure
Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure stack
CCIE or equivalent knowledge
