What we do:
Customer information authority team builds and operates backend services to provide a platform which enables targeted emails and push notifications for millions of users.
We build highly scalable services using service oriented architecture (SOA).
We deploy code at least weekly, and use detailed monitors to ensure our services are operating correctly in production.
We are also always looking for ways to introduce more automation and improve the operational robustness of our services.
A new member of the team would quickly come up to speed on our tools and codebase and work alongside the rest of the team on our current highest priority projects.
What we're looking for from you:
:B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or equivalent
3+ years of experience in designing and developing software.
Backend experience with RESTful API and RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, etc.)
Experience with Big data technologies and NoSql DB (Hadoop MapReduce, Spark, HBase, Hive, Cassandra etc.)
Strong problem solving skills and data structuresCreative problem solving skills, debugging and troubleshooting skills
