Program Manager, Reverse Logistics

Groupon, Inc. is looking for a Program Manager, Reverse Logistics to join our team in Chicago, IL

Core Responsibilities:

Increase recovery on customer returns;
Coordinate inventory throughout the reverse logistics supply chain;
Oversee day-today operations of Groupon’s return to vendor and return to stock programs;
Partners with various internal Groupon teams to maximize recovery for returned inventory;
Define and implement criteria to determine ideal sales channels for returned products;
Identify eligible inventory and perform analyses to determine profitable paths;
Coordinate complex logistics by collaborating with third party vendors and internal Groupon stakeholders, including buyers, warehouse staff and accounting;
Track success and communicate findings to senior managements;
Partner with stakeholders such as engineering, finance and operations;
Manage Inbound and Outbound operations and Inventory Reconciliation;
Generate purchase orders by selecting and developing suppliers;
Design a new process or strategy and implement testing to ensure scalability.
REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of related experience.

Experience must have included any level of experience in:

Partner with stakeholders such as engineering, finance and operations;
Manage Inbound and Outbound operations and Inventory Reconciliation;
Generate purchase orders by selecting and developing suppliers;
Design a new process or strategy and implement testing to ensure scalability.
