Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Email Marketing

Email has been a core customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention channel for Groupon from Day 1, and we are now one of the largest email marketers in the world. The time has come for us to reinvent the way we engage consumers, tailored to the consumer’s lifecycle and journey with Groupon. We are seeking a seasoned email marketer to help drive that change.

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Email Marketing, you will be responsible for:

Developing and executing email marketing campaigns for one or more Groupon verticals
Developing and executing lifecycle marketing programs and campaigns for one or more Groupon customer segments
Analyzing and reporting on the impact of your campaigns on key metrics, including customer lifetime value and attributed financials
Optimizing your campaigns – subject line, template, content, audience, cadence, promotion – to maximize attributed revenue and/or downstream value
Partnering with other marketing channels and business teams to establish email channel and lifecycle program priorities, calendaring, campaign execution, and measurement

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally on the client-side and with a performance focus
3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, including developing and executing triggered campaigns
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or commensurate professional experience; MBA preferred
Expertise using one or more of the major Email Service Providers (ESP)
Deep understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends, especially for mobile
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be deep in the data and to distill executive-level insights
Extremely strong time and project management skills
Experience designing, executing, and measuring A/B or multivariate experiments
Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities
A builder mentality
