The Push Marketing Team are responsible for day to day operational activity on Groupon’s outbound direct marketing channels. Currently these channels are email and push notifications.
The Team is also the business owner leading initiatives and testing on Groupon’s outbound direct marketing channels.
Candidates for the Push Marketing Campaign Manager role must have Marketing, P&L ownership and Project Management experience, and thrive in high performance cultures. They must be comfortable working across cross functional teams. The role involves ownership of all push marketing campaigns for one or more EMEA markets.
You will be required to:
Be accountable to the business for the day to day operational activity on Groupon’s outbound direct marketing channels.
Work with Head of Push Marketing, and other Push Marketing leaders to deliver push marketing programs which will drive bottom line growth for Groupon
Develop and execute above and below the line CRM and promotional campaigns via email, web messaging and mobile push technologies
Work with our stakeholders to facilitate all analysis and measurement reporting required. Analyse reports, develops testing strategy and execute it.
Develop and expand integrated measurement across all marketing channels – at the customer, initiative and program level.
Communicate clearly with business leadership at WBR
Ongoing planning and optimisation of our Push Programs to ensure that revenue is maximised
Curate the push marketing customer experience
Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to achieve your own goals
Ensure maximum operational accuracy and efficiency for these business-critical channels within specific EMEA markets.
Ideally you should have:
Minimum 4 years experience of owning and delivering email marketing and or mobile push messaging activity
Educated to degree level, ideally relevant to the field of Marketing; (MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a bonus)
Experience of email and mobile push messaging is essential
Communication and influencing skills including a high level of written and spoken English
Proactive and self-driven with a drive to get hands and ‘stuck in’
Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
A drive to stay up-to-date with the latest email and mobile marketing technologies and consumer trends
Demonstrable evidence of achieving financial targets for push marketing
Mobile marketing experience with a focus on push notification strategy
Experience with cross functional and virtual teams both internally and externally
Strategic program development and big picture thinking
Familiarity with key marketing metrics – solid analytical expertise. Knowledge and experience of CRM campaign testing strategies utilized in direct channels
