Operations Specialist – Fulfillment Center

Job Description / Skills Required

The primary responsibility of the Operations Specialist is to safely perform Operational functions and support team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of operational duties, along with other related duties, meeting established rates using specified processes and procedures. An associate may be cross-trained to work in various departments within or outside of Operation as needed or based on organizational needs.

Essential Functions of Job: (Could include, but not limited to)

Actively assist Shift Coordinator, Area Managers and the team to ensure company performance metrics are meet or exceed following established company and industry standard operating procedures

Responsible for accurate entry of all observations, audit, or other data into current tools, work with Shift Coordinator – to ensure timely publish

Actively assist the Area Manager and Shift Coordinator in labor movement and assignment to assigned the building in reach performance goals and expectations

Actively identify and address inventory, order flow, and systemic issues and drive to solution by use of the proper partnerships and technical support

Help drive ongoing process improvement using the change management process

Follow all Company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations to ensure safe working practices, including proper work attire; reporting safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with WMS Operational process or previous experience using similar applications

Functional with MS Office products, especially Excel and Word

Ability to support team members to reach their potential using Labor management and critical feedback methodology

Basic math skills and demonstrate an ability to match numbers

Ability to be cross-trained in other cross functional areas
