Senior Manager Business Operations (MD Operations)

Job Description / Skills Required

The Senior Manager Operations is the subject-matter expert for Groupon’s Account Management Team. .This role will work closely with country heads and sales team to design and operationalize business strategy. Responsibility will be to provide close support to the regional sales teams to ensure business continuity, give critical insight, and improve effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Identify and promote strategic development opportunities that will drive incremental revenue growth
Design and execute tactical plans to maximize merchant lifetime value
Identification of operational improvements based on review of current processes through documentation of process and data flows
Partner with sales training to jointly own and improve on-boarding and upskilling training programs for the account management team
Working with technology teams on Sales-facing tooling in CRM systems, feeding in design requirements and supporting the end to end development cycle of the tool from conception to deployment
Project manage the development of centralized tools, ranging from dashboards, multi-dimensional modelling and spreadsheets, that sales teams can use to extract insights for daily business management in an automated manner
Project manage design of compensation and target setting models
Manage a team of 2 -3 analysts
Job Requirements/Specifications

Experience in driving continuous improvement projects in a sales environment, -including a track record for strong execution to drive business result
Strong problem solving, negotiating, influencing and facilitation, organization, prioritization, decision making and conflict resolution skills
Basic SQL and Tableau
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Educated to degree level (or the equivalent) is preffered
