The Sales Strategy & Planning team is responsible for the strategic direction and tactical planning to create an optimal pipeline with a focus on revenue optimization, Sales force effectiveness and Product integration. The focus for the team is improving performance throughout the value chain from front-line sales to merchant partners and to the end customer.

We’re currently on the look-out for a Sales Operations Analyst who will provide analytical support to our Sales teams using multiple data sources and research methods. You’ll turn data into impactful sales insights to ensure our Sales teams are targeting businesses and markets based on supply and demand.

You’re bright, commercially savvy with a passion for research and analytics. Your high energy and roll up your sleeves attitude will be critical to your success.

Day to day responsibilities

Research, identify and analyse new businesses for lead generation
Assessing quality ranking of merchants and allocation of accounts in
Optimizing the distribution of inbound new business leads to the sales team database maintenance ensuring accurate and consistent records are kept
Assist in developing and maintaining ongoing dashboards and models, contribute to sales incentives and competitions
Actioning ad hoc data and sales rep requests with scope for you to explore self-identified data lead opportunities
The ideal candidate

1 -2 years’ experience, preferably in an e-commerce business analyst or research capacity
Data and detail oriented and strong organisational skills
Ability and passion working with high volume of data in a data heavy environment (Internet based research highly desirable)
Meticulous attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering results while juggling multiple tasks
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs
Experience using Salesforce or familiar with SQL highly regarded
